2001 Volvo S40

Well, I Finaly got my car. It is a 2001 Volvo s40 1.9t automatic. Shes got leather seats, has like 400 airbags, and is blue. this photo has not been alterd:

I wanted a cheap way to hook up my Ipod... so i used a tape adapter. however, it was very ugly. I decided to screw that and run an FM modulator, but it sounded like crap. I gave that to my friend and got the tape adapter back out, and started thingking - what if I could run a slick tape adapter setup? sound like an oxymoron? check this out:

the tape adapter wire is run on the INSIDE of the face of the head unit. you figure out the rest... but it looks something like this:

This uses the $30 Ipod remote and adapts it for use in any car with the above tape adapter mod. it uses parts available from any radio shack... my drawings look so wakcy when they get scanned... bleh.
